Donald W. Reynolds Foundation Awards Grant
The Donald W. Reynolds Foundation announced that its board of trustees has approved 10 grants, totaling almost $20 million, to strengthen physician's geriatrics training across the United States. UNTHSC received almost $2 million for educating physicians on geriatrics. The grants will support comprehensive projects in academic health centers to train medical students, residents and practicing physicians in geriatrics.

UNTHSC announces new appointments

Thomas Moorman, Ed.D., has been named vice president of Student Affairs, and Abbot Clark, Ph.D., has been named director of the North Texas Eye Research Institute.
